Ronald de Hommel (1970) is a Dutch freelance magazine and documentary photographer based in Medellin, Colombia, where he has teamed up with journalist Jeroen Kuiper. Together they produce (multi-media) reports about Latin America under the name of The Medellin Office.
He specializes in social issues mostly focusing on southern countries. Currently he works on several worldwide projects (i.e. Disputed Waters) besides doing assignments for Dutch and international magazines and NGO's. Part of his work is represented by the photo agencies: ANP Photo(Netherlands), Babel-Photo (France) and Nazca Pictures (Italy).
